This weekend, we were surprised by a court ruling ordering the eviction of Kasa Invisível. Our lawyers are already working to try to reverse this decision, but the eviction could happen at any moment throughout this week.
Therefore, we are reaching out now to ask for the attention and support of our friends, partner organizations and collectives, the people who frequent the house, our neighbors, and everyone who supports and believes in this project.
We ask that you stay alert and available to stand with us if necessary!
Soon, we will call an open meeting at Kasa Invisível to think collectively about how we can resist the eviction and strengthen this struggle. Our strength is social and collective, and we believe that we can only face this moment through solidarity, mobilization, and mutual support.
Kasa Invisível is an occupation that, since 2013, has housed a social center, cooperatives, and housing, always promoting free activities and building a living network of solidarity with our neighbors, other occupations, people experiencing homelessness, and various groups and initiatives in the city.
